Rachel Troxell founded and served as the first President of LympheDIVAs. On January 22, 2008, although her body succumbed to the onslaught of breast cancer her spirit was never defeated. She continued to be a vital presence at LympheDIVAs until the last, where a caller could still hear a cheery “Hello, LympheDIVAs, this is Rachel.” It was her fervent wish that LympheDIVAs and its mission to provide products for the benefit of breast cancer survivors with lymphedema everywhere would continue. To this end her father, Dr. Howard A. Levin, her mother Judy Levin and brother Josh Levin continue to work to assure that LympheDIVAs survives and thrives. Rachel was honored by Living Beyond Breast Cancer in 2008 with their “Founders Award.” A video they prepared for the event is below.
