This October, We See You

This October, We See You

Every October the world turns pink, and for many of you that color carries a lot. Pride, grief, strength, exhaustion, sometimes all of it on the same day.

So I want to start this month by saying something simple: wherever you are in your story, you belong here. 🩷

I have been with LympheDIVAs since 2009, and this spring I became its owner, carrying forward what our founder Rachel started in 2006. People sometimes ask me why a small company in the Berkshires spends its days knitting compression sleeves. The honest answer is that our customers taught us why.

What our warriors have taught us

Women who have finished breast cancer treatment often tell us the hardest part was not the surgery or the radiation. It was afterward, when the appointments slowed down and they were left with a body that felt different and a sleeve that felt like a hospital bracelet they could never take off.

A garment you hide is a garment you stop wearing.

They also taught us

1

That "medically correct" and "beautiful" were never meant to be opposites.

2

That being asked "Where did you get that?" in the grocery store can feel like a small victory.

Why we still make everything here

Every LympheDIVAs garment is made to order in the USA. That matters to us for three reasons.

Fit

Our sleeves come in three standard sizes, and our team will help you find yours. Not sure which one? Write to us and a real person will help you choose.

Care

When you call or email, you reach our team of eight, the same people who make your garments.

Accountability

If something is not right, we can see it, fix it, and learn from it right here.

If you are newly facing lymphedema risk

Lymphedema can appear months or even years after lymph node removal or radiation, and the early signs can be subtle.

💡 Early signs to watch for

• A ring that suddenly feels tight

• A shirt cuff or watch band that leaves a mark

• A feeling of heaviness or fullness in the arm

If you notice any of these, please talk to your doctor or a certified lymphedema therapist. Catching it early makes a real difference.

A little help for the road ahead

Whether you are newly diagnosed or simply want to know what to watch for, our free booklet, Lymphedema: A Complete Guide, explains the stages, the early signs, everyday risk reduction, compression, and cellulitis in plain language. We'll follow it with a few gentle emails on compression, fit, and paying for your first garment. No pressure and no spam, just the guidance we would want for our own sisters.

Reply to any of our emails, or tag us on Instagram and Facebook. With your permission, we may share a few stories (first names only) to remind someone out there that she is not alone. 🩷

And if you have been waiting to try a pattern, this is a good month to be seen. Every pattern is applied to your sleeve after you order, so the one you choose is made just for you.
