The story of LympheDIVAs began in Philadelphia with a shared vision between two young breast cancer survivors. After developing lymphedema, a common side effect of breast cancer treatment that causes chronic swelling in the arms, they were introduced to the world of medical compression garments.

Their physicians and lymphedema therapists recommended compression sleeves as the most effective way to manage the swelling. However, when they researched the available options, they found a disheartening reality: the only choices were rough-textured, heavy, hot, beige, and bandage-like. They looked more like medical devices than apparel.

Frustrated by the lack of fashionable and comfortable options for edema management, the duo partnered with a talented fashion designer. Together, they set out to transform the industry by creating elegant, breathable, and comfortable compression sleeves that women would actually want to wear.

A Legacy of Strength and Inspiration

In late 2007, one of the co-founders stepped away from the company. Shortly after, the remaining founder discovered her breast cancer had returned. Even while undergoing treatment, she continued to build the LympheDIVAs brand, finding immense joy and purpose in creating beautiful lymphedema products during a difficult time.

Although she passed away in early 2008, her determination and compassion to improve the quality of life for breast cancer survivors remain the heartbeat of the company. Her spirit is woven into every compression arm sleeve, gauntlet, and glove we create.

Following her passing, her family stepped in to honor her request and continue the mission she helped start. For over a decade, they dedicated themselves to growing the brand, ensuring that fashionable compression wear became accessible to patients worldwide.
