Our Journey
Our Story
20 Years of Beautiful Compression
For two decades, LympheDIVAs has believed that medical compression should never mean giving up how you feel about yourself. What began in 2006 as two friends' refusal to settle for beige, bandage-like sleeves has grown into a women-owned American company that helps thousands of people manage lymphedema with confidence, comfort, and style.
Where It Began
LympheDIVAs started in Philadelphia with Rachel Levin Troxell and Robin Miller — two young breast cancer survivors who developed lymphedema, a common side effect of treatment that causes chronic swelling in the arm. Their physicians and lymphedema therapists recommended compression sleeves to manage the swelling, but the only options available at the time were rough, heavy, hot, and beige. They looked more like medical devices than anything a person would want to wear every day.
Frustrated by the lack of beautiful, comfortable options, Rachel and Robin partnered with fashion designer Kristin Dudley to reinvent the compression garment. In 2006 they launched LympheDIVAs with a simple but radical idea: a medical-grade compression sleeve that women would actually want to wear.
A Legacy of Strength: Remembering Rachel
In late 2007, Robin stepped away from the company. Soon after, Rachel learned that her breast cancer had returned. Even while undergoing treatment, she kept building LympheDIVAs, finding joy and purpose in creating beautiful garments for others facing what she faced.
Rachel passed away in January 2008 at the age of 37. At her request, her family carried the mission forward. Her parents, Dr. Howard and Judy Levin, took over the company, and her brother Josh Levin later joined to help lead it. For more than a decade, the Levin family grew LympheDIVAs into a brand trusted by patients and clinicians around the world — keeping Rachel's spirit woven into every sleeve, gauntlet, and glove.
Two Decades of Beautiful Compression
Today, LympheDIVAs garments are sold through retailers and clinics across the globe and worn by thousands of people managing lymphedema and lymphedema risk. Every garment is still made to order in the USA, in medical-grade graduated compression — 20–30 and 30–40 mmHg for sleeves, gauntlets, and gloves, plus 15–20 mmHg in socks — and more than 75 colors and patterns.
Seamless, breathable, moisture-wicking fabric with 4-way stretch, finished with our latex-free, silicone-free DIVA Diamond Band, delivers true medical compression that looks and feels like a fashion accessory. We make compression arm sleeves, gauntlets, gloves, and socks — all designed to help you manage lymphedema with style, grace, and confidence.
The Next Chapter: Women-Owned & American Made
In 2026 — our twentieth year — LympheDIVAs entered an exciting new chapter when longtime team member Anna Korniyets acquired the company, making LympheDIVAs a proud women-owned and women-run business. Having worked alongside the team for years, Anna shares the founders' original passion and is committed to carrying their vision forward.
We remain devoted to our roots as an American manufacturer, producing high-quality medical compression garments right here in the USA. Our goal has never changed: to help breast cancer survivors and everyone managing chronic swelling feel beautiful, strong, and confident — without compromising on their medical needs.
